Yifan Sun majored in Japanese during undergraduate studies in China. Then she came to Japan in 2016. She pursued her Master study in intercultural society, at Osaka University. The research of her Master study focused on language education for Chinese children in Japan and parenting issues for Chinese mothers. She has presented her research at International conferences. She graduated from Osaka University in 2019.
Currently, she is a PhD student in Graduate School of Language and Culture, Osaka university. She is doing the research related to Chinese characters and Japanese study.
